Worland Irrigated Lands GIS Project, Level II. Five irrigation districts in the vicinity of Worland, Wyoming, joined together with the common goal of having their irrigation conveyance systems digitally mapped.

The purpose of the project was to develop a user-friendly Geographic. The Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP) was initiated in to prevent agricultural runoff from impairing surface waters, and ingroundwater regulations were added to the program. Waste discharge requirements (also known as "WDRs" or "Orders"), which protect both surface water and groundwater, address irrigated agricultural.

The un-irrigated land within the Water Awards is referred to as "Tribal Futures" in the Basin Final Report, but could not be identified in the GIS data. Nancy McCann, Wyoming State Engineer's Office, provided a "futures" shape file which does identify un-irrigated land within the Water Awards.
