The result shows that the crop lands are well distributed throughout the study area and it covers sq. km ( per cent). Forest occupies sq. km and sharing about per cent of . This story map was created with the Story Map Series application in ArcGIS Online. No information is available for non-listed countries. The above figures give the number of square kilometers of land area that is artificially supplied with water. 1 square kilometer corresponds to square miles. 1 square meter corresponds to square feet.

Worland Irrigated Lands GIS Project, Level II. Five irrigation districts in the vicinity of Worland, Wyoming, joined together with the common goal of having their irrigation conveyance systems digitally mapped.
The purpose of the project was to develop a user-friendly Geographic. The Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP) was initiated in to prevent agricultural runoff from impairing surface waters, and ingroundwater regulations were added to the program. Waste discharge requirements (also known as "WDRs" or "Orders"), which protect both surface water and groundwater, address irrigated agricultural.
The un-irrigated land within the Water Awards is referred to as "Tribal Futures" in the Basin Final Report, but could not be identified in the GIS data. Nancy McCann, Wyoming State Engineer's Office, provided a "futures" shape file which does identify un-irrigated land within the Water Awards.

DRAINAGE OF IRRIGATED LANDS is the ninth in a series of training manuals on irrigation. It discusses the need for drainage in irrigated areas, focussing on drainage at the farm level. The GIS shapefile and spreadsheet tables show the agriculture irrigated land use for Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa Counties developed through a cooperative project between the U.S.
Geological Survey (USGS) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), Office of Agricultural Water Policy. Information provided in this layer includes crop type, irrigation. Process details are available in the larger work citation.
Classification results in vector format were intersected with the UCRB irrigation method dataset. Agricultural fields with 30% or more of their area classified irrigated were classified irrigated in the final dataset.
GeoTracker – GeoTracker is a database and geographic information system that provides online access to environmental data. It tracks regulatory data for the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program. California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN) – CEDEN is the State Water Board’s data system for surface water quality in California.
Assessment of irrigated lands by conventional means of survey requires a great deal of time, but Final report application of geospatial analysis using remote sensing data and GIS techniques minimize time. Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program The California Water Code authorizes the State and Regional Water Boards to issue waste discharge requirements (WDRs) or a waiver of waste discharge requirements (waivers) if it is in the public interest.
Over the years, the Regional Water Boards issued waivers for over 40 categories of discharges. The GIS shapefile and summary table provide irrigated agricultural land-use for Highlands County, Florida through a cooperative project between the U.S Geological Survey (USGS) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), Office of Agricultural Water Policy.
Information provided in the shapefile includes the location of irrigated land field-verified between November. The GIS product developed digital irrigated lands and points of diversion.

The raster land use/land cover data is a geo-referenced, thematic data layer produced using multi-date Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper satellite imagery.
The satellite imagery used in the classification was collected between the dates of 06/13/ and 9/20/ The nominal scale iswith a ground resolution of meters or feet. MAPPING IRRIGATED LANDS BY CROP TYPE IN KANSAS Dana Peterson, Research Assistant1 Jerry Whistler, Research Associate1 Once the methods for mapping irrigated lands are finalized using the dataset, a crop-type irrigation map will be produced for each year of the study period ().

Irrigated Lands Update. Overview Quality Assessment Report Factors other than irrigated agriculture that might influence groundwater quality Adminstrative Draft of GAR – May 30 Draft to Regional Board for Review – June 9. This statistic shows the total area of irrigated land on farms in the United States from to Inthere were around million acres of irrigated land in total.
This data set consists of federally owned land polygon features of the United States. The data set was created by extracting federal land polygon features from the individual ,scale State boundary Digital Line Graph (DLG) files produced by the U.S.
